Have you bad any issues with the replacement unit you got? I bought one a little over a week ago and it had a dead pixel. I got a replacement from the Apple store today and it was in a generic box with the book like yours. Just curious if everything was good on it.

Couldn’t you have just walked into an apple store and they would have replaced it on the spot? I’m debating if I should take mine in it’s not the bad at least it’s isolated to the the bottom near the home button, I heard apple was even throwing in a free smart cover for people’s troubles. How does your replacement fare? Screen bleeding still existent? From what I heard it’s a manufacturing problem so I didn’t want to risk getting sent a worse one.

@KJApps if its a few weeks, then yes. You have a 1 year limited hardware warranty, and 90 days telephone support
Is there a difference between a brand new iPad 2 and a replacement? I did the same what you do = Apple Care
@KJApps if you are still under the one year warranty apple will replace it. you get a year to purchase the apple care to extend the warranty on your device.
mine has screen bleeding too, but i dont have apple care, will they replace it anyway? – bought it few weeks ago..
