Custom Springboard Page Titles With PageNames For iPhone, iPod Touch, & iPad – iOS Vlog 480

PageNames is tweak that will allow you to categories your app pages a little better. At the top of your Springboard, right under your status bar you will see some new text. By default, it numbers your pages “Page 1, Page 2, etc” which helps from the start. Now if you aren’t too big of a fan of number(for some reason), you can jiggle your icons and change that text to whatever you want. This give you the ability to title your games page, productivity page, etc. without using folders. Cool tweak that you can pick up for free from the Cydia Store. iOS 5 Lockscreen Camera Button Always On With ‘CameraLocker’ For iPhone & iPad – iOS Vlog 556

CameraLocker is an iOS 5 Cydia Tweak that will always show your new Camera button on your Lockscreen. Normally you would need to double tap the home button to bring up music controls and the Camera button but this will keep it shown. Your slider becomes a little less wide after this but if anything it can save you half a millisecond =]. Be sure to check out CameraLocker in the Cydia Store under the Big Boss Repo. Upgrade Your Native Maps Application With ‘Dashboard For Maps’ – iOS Vlog 516

Dashboard for Maps is a tweak that will add a few extra features to your native Maps application on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. The tweak adds a dashboard to Maps that includes a Compass, Odometer, and some sort of Distance Meter. First off, the compass is really helpful so at least you can get some sort of sense of direction when you don’t want to double tap your current position. That just causes problems and makes your map “goofily” spin around, even bigger problem with interference. Other than that, the odometer is help when driving or biking and allows you to switch from analog to digital and viceversa. Settings within this tweak are things like transparency of the dashboard as well as changing the units of measurement. You can find Dashboard for Maps in the Cydia Store for .00. Have you ever wanted a simple/easy way to unlock your device other than the stock “Slide To Unlock” method? Well StyleUnlock makes that simple by allowing you to swap out the native gesture of swiping to the right. You can do things like; 1 or 2 finger tap, swipe left, swipe right, swipe up, down, and many more. You can even “Pinch to Unlock”, remove your slider(to see more of your wallpaper), or have your native “Slide To Unlock” not work!
